KOCO Successfully Delivers Second Project in the Republic of the Congo, Adding Multiple Soft-Pouch Packaging Lines

We have successfully completed a second collaborative project with a key client in the Republic of the Congo. Located in Pointe-Noire, the project involved the installation of three advanced soft-pouch packaging lines: Purified water production lines, juice pouch production lines, and bagged milk production lines.

Having previously operated a similar facility in Brazzaville, the client’s expansion to a second production site within just three years highlights the strong demand in the African market for affordable liquid beverages. These new lines will produce purified water, fruit juice, yogurt, and other drinks, all packaged in convenient, cost-effective soft pouches.

Soft-pouch packaging is increasingly favored in the African market due to production costs that are significantly lower than those of plastic bottles. Furthermore, as many nations—including the Republic of the Congo—implement strict regulations on plastic usage, metallized and aluminum foil pouches have emerged as an ideal solution that is both environmentally compliant and cost-effective.
